A webcomic I drew a few years ago for Drew Edwards' "Halloween Man" will be published in October by Silent Devil as part of a larger graphic novel called "Halloween Man Super Deformed".

Here is an article www.comicbookresources.com/new… about the book and here is the story that will see print. www.halloweenman.com/galleryVi…

Issue two of AIT/Planet Lar's Black Diamond www.ait-planetlar.com/blackdia… hits stands today!

Marlena and I have a 6-page story in the back which features the first published work scripted by Ken Lowery.

Here is a review of the first two issues that also gives our back-up some props... even if Marlena's first name is spelled wrong... and she was somehow reverted back to her maiden name... and I was left out of the equation all together... I really do appreciate the kind words.

My life's been kinda "by-the-seat-of-your-pants" lately, which has caused me to get a little behind on internet stuff.

So much so that I've never found the chance to post this awesome Henry pin-up from my Knucklejelly series crafted by the king of pus and putrescence :iconrossradiation:

www.deviantart.com/deviation/5…

It's super cool!

The folks at FanboyTV gave away the pin-up of Knucklejelly I drew.  You can see the final image and the give away here:

It was won by fellow artist, Texas resident and Ben, Ben Moss
:iconbmoss:

Thanks to everyone that entered!

Also, now that the show I appeared on has been moved to the archives, it is alot easier to view.

The folks at FanboyTV are giving away a pin-up I drew, in studio, of Knucklejelly fighting off a horde of skull-headed, bat-winged demon babies. (unfortunately I don't have a pic of it.)

All you have to do to win, is register to their forum and add your name to this forum thread:
www.fanboy.tv/forums/viewtopic…

Sometime next week they'll roll a 20-sided die and whoever has the winning number's post on the thread gets the art.

So if you are interested, act fast before the 20 spots are taken up.

Last night I was on interviewed live on Fanboy TV, a great new show about comics and pop culture that airs on the internet every Monday and Thursday - 7:00c.

fanboy.tv/

I was featured in Episode 11, May 7th, 2007.  The Episode will be on the front page, until Thursday, then you'll have to search the archives.  My short scenes are labeled "Ben Hall", "Sub or Flub", and "Artists Results" but I recommend checking out the rest of the show as well.

I also drew a Knucklejelly pin-up, during the show that they will be giving away randomly to sometime on their forum this week.  I'll be sure to let everyone know when the thread is posted.

Last week, monologist Mike Daisey mikedaisey.com/ was doing his one man show when a group of high school students got up and left, due to the language of the show.  One of the administrators, instead of quietly leaving, stepped over the line and poured water all over Daisey's original hand written notes.

Here's the video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IeMtQ…

Daisey claims they were warned about the language. www.mikedaisey.com/2007/04/aft…

The high school claims they were not. www.boston.com/ae/theater_arts…

Regardless, I find the actions of the man in the video bone-chilling and the look upon Daisy's face as some hateful member of the audience destroys his work, is truly heartbreaking.

In other news....

Josh Howard presents: SASQUATCH, www.thisisnotahoax.com/ an anthology about everyone's favorite myth monster, hits the stands today with a 7 page story by my wife and I.

Also check out this really nice review by Comic Addiction www.comicaddiction.com/feature… that highlights our story along with David Hartman, Christopher Graybill and Josh Howard.

I get several fake Myspace profiles trying to add me every month, claiming to be some hot, sexy chick who just moved to the area, looking to hang out with a complete stranger she just found on the Internet and needing someone to look at her online sexy gallery or fill out some sort of survey.

I'm sure I'm not the only one, as the Myspace account my wife set up for our cat also gets the same ladies telling him how unbelievably hot he is.

....and he's a cat.

If their picture is too slutty, I usually just delete them for fear their site has some sort of computer killing virus on it, but if the picture looks like it could actually be a real person, I usually check it out to see if they are selling something.

Recently I've been having more fun reading the comments made by the poor saps that don't know any better and believe this really is a air-breathing woman who wants to do the virtual horizontal tango with them.

Sometimes they are from guys that think they are so awesomely amazing that hot chicks should search them out on the Internet on a regular basis, sometimes they are from guys who are just excited a girl is talking to them.

Hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time.  It's true entertainment.

Just thought I'd share.

HERO, an organization that in the past has been devoted to taking care of retired comic creators is expanding its focus to taking care of current ones as well.  They are currently looking to offer industry wide health insurance to freelancers.  Here's hoping they pull this off and the insurance is worth a damn.

Marlena and I watched the movie "So I Married an Axe Murderer" last night.  She had never seen it and I hadn't seen it since it first came out in '93.  It's still a funny movie, and it's funny to see Mike Myers doing all the same voices he's doing now over 10 years ago.

At one point in the movie Phil Hartman shows up in a cameo and it made Marlena and me sad that in real life he really did marry an axe murderer... well his wife shot him to death at least.  We found it a little creepy that he was in such a prophetically titled movie, but it wasn't a big deal until Michael Richards showed up in his own cameo and went off on a room full of people to stop judging him, yelling about how he's an insensitive man.

That creeped us out.

Weird how much can happen in 14 odd years.

In other news, I recieved another piece of Knucklejelly fan art from the super nice :iconspinomania:

I've heard about this technology, but this is the first time I've seen it in action.

The powers that be have found a way to fit 8 seconds of animation onto a flat piece of bendable paper with no electricity, all it needs is a light source to work.

Check it out, and have a peek into the future world of advertising.

I'm sure it will be used for porn first, as is all good tech.
